What times does the Toddler Time class run?
Our classes run in trimesters during the months of September through May. Our one hour class period takes place on Thursday mornings from 9:00am to 10:00am.
Am I required to come?
Yes. The class is to be enjoyed by both the parents and the children. A parent must stay on site for the duration of the class.
Who is this class open to?
This class is specially designed for children ages birth to five years old and their parents. It is designed to aid parents in educating their children, while still being able to share the message of God’s love with our community.
Do I need to bring anything?
It is not required that you bring anything for this class. However, we do utilize a “Letter of the Day” activity in which our children share an item from home that starts with our letter. There are always extras provided so that guests or children who forgot a toy can still participate.
Is there a cost?
Our ten-week trimesters cost $20 for the first child and $10 for each additional child. It is our goal to keep this a cost-friendly class and only charge enough to cover our materials. We collect this fee on the first class period of each trimester cycle. Checks or cash are accepted.
Do I need to register?
Yes. Registration is required because space is limited and fills up quickly. You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
What If I’m not Lutheran?
Our classes are open to families of all denominations. There are no membership or church requirements to be able to participate. We are striving to offer a service to the community and our door is open to serve your family’s spiritual needs at all times.
What if my child can’t sit through some of the activities?
At times during our class periods, your child may get restless and need to move. That’s fine with us! We encourage parents to guide their children through the activities at their individual levels. A variety of toys, activities and art materials are used to meet the needs of all ages. The more exposure the children receive to the schedule and activities featured at Toddler Time, the longer their attention spans become and more engaged they become.
