About SOTH

Shepherd of the Hills was formed in 2008 with support from Water of Life Lutheran Church and WELS, to share the saving love of Jesus with the people of northwest Las Vegas. We currently have approximately 130 members and are welcoming new people into our family every month. We just recently moved to our brand new worship facility at 6520 N Dapple Gray Rd. Please join us and our family!

About Pastor

Pastor Tom Unke has served Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran since the summer of 2016. He and his wife, Jackie, love living in Las Vegas. They have four grown children who are all college age and older.

The Unkes came to us from Wisconsin, but Pastor has served churches in Oregon, Michigan, Iowa, and Washington before heading west to live in Nevada. Jackie has taught school for many years and now enjoys focusing on music–offering piano lessons to musicians of all skill levels. She regularly accompanies worship at Shepherd of the Hills on Sundays.

Our pastor–and our whole congregational family–would love to welcome you to our church at any time.
